I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. To be honest growing up, it was one of the only things I felt I was truly good at as a child. I always felt… different.
I was sensitive to light, colors and sound. I could read people’s micro expressions and body language. All of these things are traits of high sensitivity, a trait that I believe helps people to be safe, conscious and aware in this sometimes crazy world that we live in. I never thought these traits would be things that would tie into my art.
There were only two things I ever wanted to be when I grew up: an artist and a mother. For some reason I was always scared to take the leap to pursue my art. When I suddenly became a single mother, I merged the two. I created this business for my daughter, and somehow simultaneously her existence pushed me to believe in myself. In my art. To believe I could go all in with my whole heart for her…for us.
